Jenet E. Le Lacheur

Writer, Filmmaker, Multidisciplinary Performer and Naturalist.

Jenet E. Le Lacheur (She/Her) is a pathologically loquacious wordsmith with a passion for comedy and nature writing. Her published works include the poetry collection Potry, released through Reconnecting Rainbows Press, and the children’s novel The Thylacine Diaries, available as an eBook on Kindle. As a playwright her credits include Yerma (Nottingham Playhouse / Omnibus Theatre), Anning (Sam Wanamaker Playhouse), Gaigai Tauna: The Snake Man (UK and Channel Island tour), The Curious Incident of the Frog in My Sightline (ZOO Southside) and additional material for Another Winter’s Tale (UK tour) and Redefining Juliet (RSC / Barbican). Having just wrapped up production on her first short film as writer-director in fourteen years, she is currently working on a feature-length screenplay, Give a Little Love, and a memoir tentatively entitled (then with mounting fervour) Bare and Back Again. Sarnian by birth, she now lives in the North of England with her girlfriend Star, and owns a pet bearded dragon named Gizmo.
