Our mission at Reconnecting Rainbows Press is to tell great stories created by marginalised storytellers. Any profit we make as a community interest company goes back into helping us bring this mission to life, and as such we’re always working with great queer storytellers on what’s next!
Currently Open Calls for Submissions
Trans*(verse) III: Transcendence

The third in our series of anthologies by trans and non-binary writers, ‘Trans*(verse) III: Transcendence’ will focus on the theme of Faith, Love, and Authenticity. We’re looking for your reflections on being a trans* or non-binary person of faith, whatever that means to you. We want celebrations of love in all its guises, from cringey teenage romance to the passionate, parental, platonic, or polyamorous. Last but definitely not least, we want to hear your experiences of coming out and living as your authentic self, with all the queer joy that it brings!
Please send submissions of poetry or short creative non-fiction, e.g., reflections or memoir (up to 500 words) with a 50-word bio.
You Are Treasured

Every Pride Month, inclusive churches make a lot of positive noise… but as soon as it’s over, most of them forget we’re still here. You Are Treasured (edited by Ash Brockwell) is a new resource-in-progress to help churches affirm and celebrate LGBTQIA+ people and other minoritised groups all year round. We’re calling for contributions relating to a specific day, week, or month in the year – from Easter to Trans Day of Remembrance, from Lesbian Visibility Day to Christmas. If you need some inspiration, check out our provisional list here.
Please send submissions of poems, hymns, prayers, liturgies, short reflections, or meditations, with a 50-word bio (and please get in touch if you can think of a holiday that we’ve missed).
