Writer, Performer, Mnemonist (self-proclaimed)
Leatrice (she/her) writes for the watcher. Originally from NYC, she moved to the UK for a master's degree and has lived there since. Drawing upon homesickness and grief, she writes about memory, obsession, and mental illness.
She has been a featured reader at Poetry Mondays, Oxford Di-Verse Poetry Festival, Oxford Indie Book Fair, and Benjamin Franklin House, among others. Recently, she was highly commended for both the Femmesocial Press poetry prize, the Enfield Poets poetry prize, and a finalist in the London Independent Story Prize.
Other publications include Corporeal, Clepsydra, the Oxford Review of Books, the Talon Review, Magnolia, BarBar, Blood + Honey, and more. When writer's block hits, you can find her performing in drag shows under other pseudonyms, or co-hosting Oxford DIY Pride.
