Ash Brockwell
Poet, editor, dabbler in far too many things.
Ash Brockwell (he/they) is a poet/songwriter, editor, and academic whose work explores themes of identity, transformation, and ecological connection. His debut solo collection, Emotional Literacy: Collected Poems and Song Lyrics (2022), showcases his exploration of self-discovery and emotional expression. He is also the editor of the TransVerse anthology series, which amplifies the voices of transgender and non-binary poets – promoting inclusivity and visibility. Ash holds a PhD in Education and works as an Associate Professor at the London Interdisciplinary School, where he teaches ecology, ecopsychology, problem-based learning, and research methods. When he's not writing or teaching, Ash loves painting, learning obscure languages, going on pilgrimages and other long walks, having deep conversations with trees, and hanging out with his best friend and their extremely fluffy cat. Not all at the same time, though.
